Kira Block

Hi! My name is Kira Block, I am 16 years old (as of 2025) and I am the middle child in the Block Family. I think of myself as the most diverse Block. I can never stick to one thing/sport. I’m a show jumper for my main sport. Show jumping is an equestrian sport. As my second sport I race cars. Mainly Can-Ams but I do some karting and just random things that pop up. My hobbies are out of control. I’m an artist, I mainly paint but I draw some too. I snowboard, wakesurf, shoot guns, read, bake, cook, and make jewelry. I ride bikes and dirt bikes sometimes, well more like when I have to. I don’t really like things with 2 wheels. They scare me.

Since I travel so much I really enjoy my time at home. But when I am gone I’m usually competing or at a race track.

My goal is to go to the Olympics for horseback riding (specifically show jumping). The Olympics is my main goal but after that I would love to jump in a world tour. One of my biggest dreams is to compete in Monaco whether it be riding horses or in a car.

History - I have been very fortunate to work in Motorsport for the last 39 years started off by working with Mitsubishi Japan then moving directly to Mitsubishi World Rally - Ralliart Europe working my way up from the parts department to head technician then the Logistics Co-ordinator and finally the Team Manager. During this period we won four FIA World Rally Championships for drivers (Tommi Makinen) and one FIA World Rally Championship for Manufacturers. Also won the FIA Asia Pacific Championship three times.

I then joined Vermont Sportcar in 2005 and started to work with Ken Block and Travis Pastrana. It was not long before the team dominate

In 2009 started the Monster World Rally Team with Ken and the rest is a blur, totally flat out entering FIA World Rally Championship rounds, Rally America Rally Championship, Global Rally Cross US Championship, two years as the offical Ford Performance team entering the FIA World RallyCross Championship.
